Studio Call – start a call or join one

Direct connection only (the fastest): picture and sound go straight between the computers. If a network blocks direct calls, AntzMix shows NEEDS RELAY for that guest – no relay server is used yet.

How to unblock our installer

Do this once, before you open the zip.
  1. Open your Downloads folder and right-click AntzMix-Relay-Windows.zip → Properties.

What is shared now.
SOURCE
Opens the browser's list of screens, windows and tabs. The new one takes this input's place: same number, tabs, layers, overlays and sound settings. Also in the right-click menu of the tile.

Call

In the Audio Mixer like any input. The guest hears everything except himself (mix-minus).

Audio outputs

Each output takes one mix – Master or a bus – and sends it to one place. To send a mix to Zoom, Teams or another app, choose a virtual audio cable as the device and pick that cable as the microphone in the app.

Screen outputs

Show a picture on another screen connected to this computer. Double-click the picture there for full screen. Clean = Program without the overlay layers.

Put the title on an overlay layer: turning the layer on plays its In animation, turning it off plays its Out animation first. Cut / Fade to Program plays the In animation.

Put up to 4 other inputs on top of this one as boxes – for example a camera in the corner of a slide. Positions are in % of the picture. Merge then moves an input that is in both Preview and Program from its old box to its new one.

Phone and this PC should be on the same Wi-Fi. On the phone press Start camera and allow the camera and microphone. Hold it sideways for a 16:9 picture. The phone shows a red LIVE frame when its picture is on Program, green when on Preview. Works in Safari (iPhone) and Chrome (Android); no app needed.

Add NDI® source

Searching the network…
Shows every NDI source on this network: vMix outputs, NDI cameras (PTZ), NDI Webcam / Screen Capture, OBS, other AntzMix PCs. Sources with transparency (titles) keep it – put them on an overlay layer. Sound goes through the Audio Mixer.
Not listed? The sending PC must be on the same network, and Windows Firewall must allow Node.js on Private networks.

Join a Zoom call

AntzMix needs to be host or co-host to receive the participants' pictures. Either the host clicks Participants → AntzMix Studio → Make co-host, or enter the meeting owner's host key (Zoom profile → Host key) and AntzMix becomes host by itself.

“Add as input” gives that person their own input (picture + sound), like a camera. The call's own tile shows whoever is speaking.

Add stream source

Uses AntzMix Relay (FFmpeg). Delay is about 1–3 seconds. H.264 sources are passed through without re-encoding (lowest CPU). If the source stops, AntzMix keeps retrying.

More frames = smoother video and scrolling, but more CPU.
Sound starts off – switch it on in the Audio Mixer. Click ⌨ on the tile to click and type in the page. Uses the Website add-on (part of AntzMix Service Relay); the first time, Setup downloads it once.

Changes at once and is remembered on this PC. Your shows look the same in every theme – only AntzMix itself changes colour.

Preview, Program, the fullscreen output and the virtual camera all use this ratio. The monitors fill their panes and keep this shape; sources with a different shape get black bars.

Live streaming – YouTube, Facebook or any RTMP server

Tick to stream to up to 3 places at once. Encoded once – only your upload grows (bitrate × number of destinations).
Not streaming.
A browser cannot send RTMP by itself. AntzMix sends the Program picture and the final mix to AntzMix Relay on this PC, which pushes it to the server with FFmpeg. Sound from the YouTube input is not included.
The final mix plays on this device. Pick your speakers or headphones, or a virtual audio cable to feed Zoom/Teams.

The actions that have a key. + Add shortcut gives any action a key; Change gives it another one, ✕ removes it. Saved on this computer; they do nothing while you type in a box (Help, Save and Open templates still work there).

Program always runs at the chosen frame rate, but only redraws when something on it changes.

AntzMix Camera – use Program as a webcam in Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, OBS

Off.
Meeting apps send at most 720p (Meet, Teams) or 1080p (Zoom, with HD on), so 720p is lighter and looks the same. Overlays, transitions and FTB are all in the camera picture.
Sound – a webcam carries picture only. For the AntzMix sound in the meeting, set Settings → AUDIO → Main audio output to a virtual audio cable (e.g. VB-CABLE) and pick that cable as the microphone in the meeting app.
Not in the list? Close and reopen the meeting app or browser once after installing.

NDI® output – to vMix, OBS, NDI Studio Monitor… on your network

Off.
Each source costs CPU and local bandwidth (Program at 720p30 ≈ 40 MB/s between the page and the relay). Enable only what you use. NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB. ndi.video
Windows Firewall may ask about Node.js JavaScript Runtime the first time you enable NDI – click Allow (Private networks), otherwise other PCs can't see the sources.
Is it working? The relay window lists each source (e.g. NDI source "MYPC (AntzMix Program)") and the Status here shows how many receivers are connected. Look for it in vMix (Add Input → NDI), OBS, or the free NDI Studio Monitor.
Google Meet / Zoom / Teams only list cameras – use VIRTUAL CAMERA (AntzMix Camera) for them instead of NDI.

Recording the Program output

Press ● Rec in the footer to start/stop. The file is written to disk while recording, so long recordings don't fill the memory. Recording works without the relay and at the same time as streaming.
